POLITZER

Weaving beauty, meaning, and connection through fiber and form.

Evelyn is a visual artist focused on honoring and conveying nature’s plea for interconnectedness through yarn, thread, and fabric.

Using traditional textile methods like knitting, weaving, and embroidery, she primarily works with soft hand-dyed fibers to create unconventional pieces ranging from small two-dimensional tapestries to monumental sculptural forms.

Inspired by the beauty and fragility of the natural environment, womanhood and motherhood, Evelyn explores materials, texture and color to connect these ideas and bring them to life with her hands and heart.

Evelyn has gifted a masterwork quilt that she knitted with her friends to Soroka Medical Center, where its beauty and meaning will radiate a message of peacefulness and healing to all who see it.

Healing. For All.

Evelyn has designated American Friends of Soroka Medical Center as a not-for-profit aligned with her values of inclusiveness, peaceful coexistence, and access to outstanding medical care for all.

Your donation supports advanced medical care, compassion, and a future of hope for all.
Funds are earmarked for cancer research, as per Evelyn’s wish.
